CPI Narayana’s sensational comments on Tirumala laddu adulteration

Tirumala: As the Tirumala laddu adulteration case is creating a sensation across the country, CPI national leader Narayana visited Tirumala on Thursday. On this occasion, he spoke to the concerned officials and shared the facts with the media.

Although it is a fact that Tirupati laddu has been adulterated, politicians should stop politicizing the issue and impose strict punishment on the culprits, he said. He said that the ruling and opposition parties are using the laddu issue for political gain and causing mental anguish to the devotees.

Leaders of both parties were advised to keep their mouths shut. Responsible officials should take action against the former executive officer and not turn it into a political feud. Adulteration of ghee used to make sacred laddus is a fact, he said.
