‘CPM lost the Lok Sabha elections due to Muslim appeasement, religious extremists will benefit from this in the future’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran said that CPM’s blatant Muslim appeasement was the reason for the massive defeat of the Left in the Lok Sabha elections. Surendran also alleged that the CPM had carried out pro-Hamas and anti-CAA propaganda during the elections.
‘The Chief Minister has done such communal propaganda to hide the failure of administration and corruption. The venomous words of the Chief Minister were meant to divide the Kerala society. Congress also took over the propaganda of CPM. Congress has now reaped what CPM sowed. In the future it will benefit religious extremists.NDA approached the elections by highlighting the development achievements of the Narendra Modi government. The National Democratic Alliance got positive votes. Those belonging to the majority community in the CPM voted for the BJP as a response against Muslim appeasement of the CPM.It is clear that the BJP has made huge inroads in the villages of the CPM party and is a reflection of this. Rajya Sabha candidate selection is an example of CPM continuing its communal appeasement. It is certain that the CPM and the Congress will compete for the votes of Muslim fundamentalists in the local elections and assembly elections,’ said K Surendran. He also added that no one who knows their history would believe that the CPM would undergo corrections.
