Criminals targeted SBI ATM, came wearing women’s clothes
Madwan: Incidents of robbery keep coming to light. In Bihar’s Madwan, criminals carried out a unique robbery. Here, thieves attacked the SBI ATM located just 500 meters from Karja police station and looted the money from the ATM and fled. The unique thing was that these thieves were wearing women’s clothes.
The criminals came around four in the morning and cut the ATM with a gas cutter and fled with the cash machine. It has not been clearly confirmed how much money has been stolen. However, it has been estimated from sources that about 23 lakh rupees have been stolen.
It can be seen in the CCTV of the ATM that at 3:40 in the morning, criminals wearing blue kurti and salwar enter the ATM. They have a white towel tied on their face, due to which they cannot be identified. The second criminal was wearing a yellow kurti. After this, the miscreants first sprayed the CCTV camera and then cut the machine with a gas cutter and took it away.
The agency monitoring the CCTV of the ATM online informed the landlord about this incident. After the incident, the ATM’s hooter also started ringing. As soon as the hooter sound came, the local Nepali watchman started shouting. People reached the spot in a hurry. They quickly extinguished the fire caused by the gas cutter and informed the police about this information.
On receiving the information, Karja police reached the spot and started investigation. SHO Sunil Kumar said that the entire incident of theft has been captured in the CCTV camera. In the footage, it can be clearly seen how the miscreants are carrying out this theft by wearing women’s clothes. Police are investigating it from all angles. These miscreants are likely to be traced soon.
