CRPF personnel deployed for 24-hour strict security of the strong room
Raigarh. After the completion of the voting process in 4 assemblies of the district on November 17 in the second phase of the Assembly General Election-2023, the process of depositing EVMs and VVPAT machines continued till late night in the KIT College campus located in Garhumaria. Subsequently, today the machines of all four assemblies were sealed in the strong room.
On this occasion, General Observer IAS Dr. Rupanjali Karthik, General Observer IAS Sasim Kumar Barai, General Observer IAS C.N. Longfai, Collector and District Election Officer Kartikeya Goyal, Additional Collector and Deputy District Election Officer Rajiv Kumar Pandey, along with all the returning officers.
Representatives of political parties were present.
It is noteworthy that for the four assembly constituencies of the district, Lailunga, Raigarh, Kharsia and Dharamjaygarh, assembly wise strong rooms have been made in KIT College Raigarh, Garhumaria for EVM and VVPAT machines. CRPF personnel have been deployed for 24-hour security of the strong room. Apart from security forces, CCTV cameras have also been installed at the doors for strong room security of all the assembly constituencies. Rooms have been created to monitor security. From where all the strong rooms are being monitored.
