Cyber police station, quick action will be taken in the case of fraud
Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually inaugurated Range Cyber Police Station in 05 ranges of the state, Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Surguja and Bastar. SOP has been issued by the Police Headquarters for the operation of Range Cyber Police Station. Cases related to cyber crime in the range cyber police station, in which loss of huge amount or extremely complex nature, will be discussed by registering a first information letter only with the recommendation of the superintendent of police and permission of the controlling inspector general of police.
The Anti Crime and Cyber Unit located in Raipur Range Cyber Police Station Ganj premises is being operated in Raipur Bhawan. In which Raipur, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Mahasamund and Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara districts of Raipur range are included. Along with accepting the complaints of online financial fraud and fraud from various platforms of social media in the concerned police stations and cyber cells of the district, they will be resolved as well.
