Damaged scrap coach catches fire in Kalyan Railway Yard

Thane: In a recent incident, an abandoned scrap coach caught fire at Kalyan railway yard on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, as confirmed by a senior Central Railway official.

The incident occurred around 4:10 pm and emergency responders immediately responded to bring the situation under control. The fire was successfully brought under control by 4:37 pm, preventing any possible casualties.

When inquired about the cause of the fire, the Central Railway official said that a thorough investigation is underway to find out the root cause of the incident. The affected coach, designated as condom scrap, was not in active service at the Kalyan Goods yard.
