Dantewada: 4 teenagers injured by Naxalite bullets
Dantewada. In the encounter that took place last Thursday in Kalahaja-Dodrebeda of Abujhmad, Naxalites used minor children as shields to protect Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee member and top Naxalite leader Ramchandra alias Karthik. In this encounter, four minors have been injured by Naxalite bullets. The police is making arrangements for the treatment of the injured.
According to the police, the Naxalites had kept minor villagers with them to carry goods. During the encounter, firing was done on the security forces taking cover of these villagers. In this, four villagers were reported to be injured by Naxalite bullets.
The injured have been given first aid. Arrangements are being made for better treatment. More information is being collected regarding the incident. Information has been received about many more Naxalites being injured in the encounter. The Naxalites are treating them in the surrounding forest area.
