Dead body of a newborn baby found in the dustbin of the hospital

Mumbai: Mumbai Police registered a case after the body of a newborn baby was found inside a dustbin on the premises of a civil hospital, an officer said on Saturday.
According to the police agent, a bartender at Lokmanya Tilak’s General Municipal Hospital, also known as Sion Hospital, found the body of a newborn baby inside a bathroom dustbin. Informed the Guard doctors about this.

A case has been registered against an unidentified woman under section 317 (exposing and abandoning of children) of the Indian Penal Code, the Sion Commissionerate official said.

He said that the police are reviewing the images of CCTV cameras installed in the hospital to get more clues.
