Dead body of a woman living separately from her husband found, suspicion of murder

Bhilai. This morning a dead body of a woman was found near Adarsh Nagar Kargadih Bhatha under Utai police station area. After inspection, Utai police have prima facie expressed suspicion that the woman may have been murdered. the police has started to investigate.

Utai police station in-charge Kapil Dev Pandey said that today around 6 am, dial 112 had received information about a dead body of a woman lying near Adarsh Nagar Kargadih Bhata. Police reached the spot and inspected the spot. During inspection, injury marks were found on the woman’s neck, due to which she is suspected to have been murdered. Deceased Jamuna Bai Goswami, husband Rudra Goswami (32 years) lived with her elder sister’s daughter in Adarsh Nagar Utai. She was married in Odisha and has three children, but was living in Utai after being separated from her husband for a long time.

After the Panchnama action, the police has sent the body to the PM and the forensic team has also been called for evidence. The matter will be revealed only after the short PM report. At present, a case has been established and investigation is being done by Utai police.
