Dead body of a young man found floating in the river during picnic, sister and friends of the deceased are in shock

Korba. Two youths who had gone for picnic near Koda river under Katghora police station were swept away in the strong current of Pana. One youth was saved but the other drowned in the water. After the information, Katghora police reached the spot and after 2 hours of effort, the police recovered the body of the youth.

According to the information, Katghora resident Vipin Dubey (26 years), her younger sister, her friend and three boys had gone to Koda village Bango Duban for a picnic at around 9 am on Sunday morning. During this time, Vipin Dubey and one of his friends had entered the river to take a bath. During this time the flow of water in the river suddenly started increasing and both of them were washed away.

It is being told that after the release of water from the dam, the flow of water in the river suddenly increased. Somehow a young man’s life was saved by his friends, while Vipin was swept away in the strong current. After this accident, information was given to Katghora police station. Vipin Dubey’s body was pulled out with the help of villagers when it was seen floating 10 kilometers ahead of the spot.
