Dead body of missing youth found in canal, fear of death due to drowning

Korba: The body of a youth who was missing for 3 days was recovered from a canal on Monday. The body got stuck at one place in a flowing canal. Seeing this, the local people informed the police. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and identified the body. It is being told that the body was found in Municipal Corporation’s ward no. 33 Vijay Yadav, resident of Rampur Basti, was missing since Saturday. Since the information was received, the family members were continuously searching for Vijay Yadav. The family members had given this information to the Kotwali police station. After the information, the Kotwali police was also searching for the missing Vijay. Meanwhile, the police received information that the dead body of a youth was seen in the canal water near the culvert in Katbitla village of Urga police station area.

After the information, the police team and family members of Vijay Yadav reached the spot. The family members have confirmed that the body is that of Vijay Yadav.
