Deadly attack on soldier, admitted to hospital
Hamirpur : On Sunday night, a BSF jawan was fatally attacked over a dispute over bursting crackers in the Maudaha Kotwali area of Hamirpur district. The soldier has been referred to Kanpur in critical condition. The jawan has accused a dozen people, including the son of the SP District President, of running and beating him with sticks. This incident has been captured in CCTV. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a report against more than 12 people under various sections including murderous charges. This case of assault on BSF jawan is from Maudha town. Here in Ragaul there was a dispute over children bursting crackers. It escalated so much that it even escalated into a fight.
The accused chased BSF jawan Muhammad Shahid sitting at the tea stall and attacked him with sticks. The soldier has been seriously injured in this attack. Such family members took him to Maudaha Community Health Centre, from where he has been referred to Kanpur. Soldier’s sister Farzana told that brother’s mother-in-law is on dialysis. He was feeling confused about bursting crackers. When the children felt like bursting crackers, the adults jumped into it and entered the house and started fighting. Soldier’s brother Rashid said that his brother’s condition is critical and he has been admitted to the ICU. Rashid told that a complaint has been given to the Kotwali police against one and a half dozen people. In this, Mukim Khan, son of SP District President Idris Khan is also there. Kotwal Suresh Saini said that a report has been registered against Zubair, Muqeem, Anees, Arbaaz, Qamar, Waris, Faheem, Shahid and other people under various sections including murderous attack.
