Death threat to Dhirendra Shastri, youth arrested
Bareilly: Once again an attempt was made to vitiate the atmosphere in Bareilly, UP. This time a youth from a particular community made objectionable remarks against Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham. However, before the situation could worsen, the police swung into action and after receiving the complaint, arrested the accused youth and sent him to jail. At present, the profile of the youth is being scrutinised. After all, at whose behest he tried to spoil the atmosphere.
Let us tell you that earlier controversial remarks were made on Lord Shri Ram in Bareilly. Then the atmosphere was saved from getting worse due to a Facebook post by a schoolboy. Before that, there has been a ruckus regarding the Kanwar Yatra. In such a situation, as soon as the police got the news that people were getting angry over the objectionable remarks on Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the officers immediately became active. The officials of Hindu Jagran Manch had complained about the controversial post. After which the police registered a case and arrested the accused youth.
The accused is a resident of Hafizganj police station area. He had threatened to kill Dhirendra Krishna Shastri on Instagram. The young man had written many objectionable things in his threatening post. At one place he had written- ‘Baba’s death is looming.’
Officials of Hindu Jagran Manch took a screenshot of his post and tagged Bareilly Police on Twitter and demanded action. After which the police came into action and registered a case against the young man under relevant sections and arrested him.
SP Gramin told that a young man from the village of Hafizganj police station area had made a chat viral on social media, in which a preacher of Sanatan Dharma was threatened with death and objectionable remarks were made on him. In this regard, after registering a case under 295, 506 IPC and IT Act in police station Hafizganj, that youth has been arrested. Legal action is being taken.
On the other hand, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi, the preacher of Dargah Ala Hazrat, said that every man has his own views. His thinking cannot be guarded. Violent thinking cannot be encouraged. Whether or not I agree with Dhirendra Shastri’s idea is a different matter, I also do not agree with his idea of Hindu Rashtra, but it is not acceptable that he should be threatened with death. Or abusive language should be used against them. This kind of propaganda should not be done on social media, it is wrong. Maulana further said that young people get carried away by emotions, then tension arises.
That’s why I want to appeal to the youth, especially the Muslim youth, that they should not indulge in such acts and should not comment on any leader. Threatening or abusing is like breaking the society. I don’t agree to it.
