Deaths From Iran Protests Reach More Than 500

Iran is in turmoil. Protests continue against the government led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. At the same time, the country is cracking down on the protests. Hundreds of people are losing their lives in military fire.

According to the latest information, the death toll in these protests has exceeded 500. The US-based Human Rights Watch said that about 530 people have lost their lives. About 490 protesters and 48 security personnel have been killed. It is reported that more than 10,600 people have been arrested in two weeks. International media is reporting that Iranian hospitals are filled with piles of corpses. Medical workers said that corpses are lying on top of each other in hospitals across the country, including Tehran, and that wards are overflowing with patients.

On the other hand, the United States has expressed concern over the latest situation in Iran. To this end, Khamenei has issued strong warnings to the government. The United States is seriously considering the possibility of military action against Iran. US President Trump has repeatedly warned that they will take action if anything happens to the protesters. With this, Iran has also issued key warnings to the United States. Tehran has threatened to target US military bases if there are military threats.
