Deepotsav 2023: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor welcomed artists in Ayodhya

Ayodhya: Ayodhya is now all set to make a record of lighting 24 lakh lamps. CM Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the seventh edition of Deepotsav 2023 shortly. The work of pouring oil and putting wicks in 24 lakh lamps kept at 51 ghats of Ayodhya has started. These lamps will be lit late in the evening at the time fixed by the UP government. 85 to 90 lamps will be lit by each volunteer. More than 25 thousand people have been deployed for this. CM Yogi has also reached Ayodhya to participate in the Deepotsav program. Apart from this, apart from Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary, many officers have also reached Ayodhya to participate in the Deepotsav program.

Before Deepotsav, the artists of Ramlila reached Ramnagari by helicopter. After this he was brought to the venue in a chariot. Apart from CM Yogi Adityanath, the chariot was also pulled by government officials. After reaching the venue, CM Yogi worshiped the artists playing the roles of Ram and Sita.

Before the festival of lights, a procession was taken out from Saket College in Ayodhya. This grand procession was taken out from Saket College at around ten in the morning, a dozen tableaux with social messages were decorated with themes. Along with this procession, about 25 hundred artists from 21 states and four countries also spread colorful colours.

Before the beginning of the seventh Deepotsav, the forms of Lord Ram, Lakshman and Goddess Sita descended on the helipad near Ramkatha Park. Apart from Chief Minister Yogi himself, he was welcomed by other special guests. After this, the coronation ceremony of the Lord was organized on the stage of Ramkatha Park. Chief Minister Yogi performed the first tilak of the Lord in the role of Maharishi Vashishtha. Again other saints and saints also performed his aarti after coronation.

On Saturday evening, Chief Minister Yogi will go to Saryu beach and perform the aarti of Maa Saryu. During this time, virtual fireworks will also be organized on Saryu Bridge. Along with the Deepotsav on Ram Pauri, the Chief Minister will stage Ramlila through light and sound program and projection mapping and unveil the laser show.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will worship the deity at Hanumangarhi on the next day of Deepotsav. Will again see Ramlala seated in the birthplace of Shri Ram. After this, he will meet the distinguished saints and mahants of Ramnagari at Saryu Guest House and leave for Gorakhpur.
