Delhi HC to hear plea against film on Sushant Singh Rajput on February 12

In July this year, the Delhi High Court refused to stay the further telecast of the film titled Nyay: The Justice, which was reportedly based on the life of Sushant Singh Rajput. In August, Sushant’s father Krishna Kishore Singh moved the Delhi High Court against the refusal to ban the ongoing online streaming of the film. Now, the Delhi HC has posted Sushant’s father’s plea to February 12, 2024, against the single-judge bench’s order rejecting his plea to stop the continued streaming of the film.
According to an IANS report, Delhi Court will hear the petition of Sushant Singh Rajput’s father against the film ‘Nyay: The Justice’ on February 12 next year. A division bench of Justices Yashwant Verma and Ravinder Dudeja has given time to all concerned parties to file their replies.

In August, a division bench of Justices Verma and Dharmesh Sharma had reportedly issued notices to several people, including film producers, whom Krishna Kishore Singh has accused of taking ‘undue commercial advantage’ of his deceased son’s life .
