Department allocation in CM Vijay’s cabinet, N. Anand’s political journey under scrutiny

Tamil Nadu: In the new cabinet led by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, portfolios have been allocated to nine ministers, including the Chief Minister. With the completion of the portfolio allocation process following the formation of the government, political activity has intensified. Meanwhile, the backgrounds and political careers of the cabinet ministers are also in the news. The biography and political journey of N. Anand, a member of the cabinet, are particularly in the news.

N. Anand was elected MLA from the Thyagaraya Nagar Assembly constituency in Chennai. He hails from Puducherry and completed his primary education there. Anand’s political journey began long ago. In 2006, he contested the Puducherry Assembly elections on a Puducherry Munnetra Congress ticket and won, becoming an MLA. With this victory, he established his strong presence in active politics.

Anand has long been associated with the political and social campaigns of actor and leader Vijay Rupani. He initially served as the Honorary President of the Vijay Fans Club and later served as its President. As Vijay’s political influence grew, the fans’ association expanded and was transformed into the Vijay People’s Movement, where Anand was appointed its general secretary. In this role, he played a key role in strengthening the organization and increasing public relations.

N. Anand currently serves as the general secretary of the Tamil Nadu Victory Party. He is considered one of Vijay’s close associates and has been associated with his political journey for a long time. Anand’s active involvement in the formation of the fans’ association and the political party is considered to have demonstrated his strong organizational experience.

A notable feature of Anand’s political journey is that he was previously a member of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly. Now, by being elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, he has achieved a rare political feat. He now joins the select group of leaders who have served as members of the legislative assemblies of two different states, further enhancing his political stature and experience.

Talking about his personal life, N. Anand is married. His wife’s name is Arlinluma. Given his extensive political experience, organizational abilities, and long-standing relationship with Vijay, he is expected to be given a key role in the cabinet.

Overall, the portfolio allocation in the new Tamil Nadu cabinet, along with the background and political career of leaders like N. Anand, remains a topic of discussion. It will be important to see how these ministers perform their duties in the new government in the future.
