Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal attended the invitation banquet

Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Health Minister and Minister in-charge of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district Shyam Bihari Jaiswal attended the invitation banquet for school children in Pendra today. He served food to the children with great affection and ate with them while sitting on the ground. Under the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Yojana, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLA Dharamlal Kaushik, Pranav Kumar Marpacchi and Kiran Singh Dev presented the children at the invitation banquet organized by Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi District Administration at Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School, Pendra. Kheer, puri, pulao, papad, salad, chutney and banana were served. He fed the small children with his own hands and ate with them while sitting in the line. Deputy Chief Minister, Health Minister and MLAs along with public representatives had a nutritious and delicious banquet with the children.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao spoke to the children with great intimacy and ease during the invitation banquet. In his address, he said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched a banquet campaign in the entire country. This is an inspiring plan. This is giving children an opportunity to eat together. Children will become mentally and physically strong by getting nutritious, tasty and hot food at the invitation banquet. He said that under this scheme, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has appealed to the people and organizations to provide food to school children on special occasions like national festivals, birthdays or marriage anniversaries. On the appeal of the Chief Minister, this campaign is going on in the entire state.
