Dharmendra regrets not getting credit for Deol family, Anupam wrote a long note after watching ‘Gadar 2’

Veteran actor Dharmendra of yesteryears is active in the acting world even at the age of 87. He was seen in the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which released on 28 July. Along with Dharmendra, his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol have been a part of many superhit films. However, Dharmendra feels that his family was never given their due in the Bollywood industry.
Dharmendra believes that not only he and Sunny, but Bobby is also doing well for himself. Yet no one acknowledges the work done by his family. His family does not market itself. The members of the Deol family believe in letting the audience speak for a good work. Sunny has never boasted despite being a part of two of the biggest blockbuster films. Dharmendra spoke his heart out in an interview to Times Now.
Dharmendra said that my family was never given our rights. My family survives on the love of the fans and we have no objection to the industry not recognizing our family’s contribution to Hindi cinema. I didn’t get any award for the 1969 film ‘Satyakam’. It is noteworthy that Sharmila Tagore, Ashok Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar also had important roles in the film.
Anupam Kher praised ‘Gadar 2’, showered love on the cast
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s ‘Gadar 2’ movie is making a lot of noise. Along with the common people, even the celebs are not tired of praising it. Now the reaction of veteran actor Anupam Kher has come to the fore. Anupam recently watched Gadar 2 on a single screen. After this, he has shared a long post praising the film. Actually Anupam went to Gaiety Galaxy Theater in Mumbai after 32 years and saw the film and also gave a review. Sharing a video from the theater and the poster of the film, Anupam wrote, “Just watched #Gadar2 at the Gaiety Galaxy Theater in Bandra. Last time I went to this single screen theater for the premiere of my film #Hum. #Gadar2 is a tsunami of emotions felt not only by the cast on screen but also by the audience in the theatre.
It takes you on a roller coaster ride. It tells you what it means to be a proud Indian. Basically it is a film celebrating the multicultural/multi-religion aspect of our country. This is very good. The crowd starts shouting loudly on every dialogue of the film. @iamsunnydeol is no longer an actor. They have become an industry in themselves.
