Disabled people returning from the diagnosis program with a sweet smile

With the special efforts of Collector Gandhi, a diagnostic program is being organized from 12th February to provide assistive devices, callipers, hearing aids and tricycles to the disabled people in the district. Disabled people from all the development blocks of the district are coming and benefiting from this diagnostic program and are returning with a sweet smile, which proves the significance of this program. Devlal Sahu, resident of village Bhendri of Magarlod development block, reached the venue to take advantage of the diagnosis program. Devlal told that 4 years ago he had gone to his relative’s wedding procession, when a bus while reversing hit his right leg, due to which his knee bone was completely broken, due to which his leg had to be amputated. . Devlal told that after the amputation of his leg, he started feeling very helpless. He told that even for small tasks one had to depend on others.

There were problems in living also. Therefore, he opened a small shop in the village itself to meet his daily needs and started concentrating on his business. But there was difficulty in walking with one leg, and he was not financially ready to bear the expense of getting an artificial leg fitted, so he got the artificial leg fitted in Raipur. However, that leg was not very comfortable and it was difficult to walk wearing it. Was. Then someone told that the district administration has organized a diagnostic camp for the disabled, in which the disabled are being fitted with Jaipuri artificial legs immediately. Devlal reached the diagnostic camp and after getting the necessary tests done from the doctors, the artisans of Mahavir Divyang Sahayata Samiti took his name and fixed his leg within a few hours. Devlal told that this foot is very convenient compared to the foot fitted earlier, there is no problem in wearing it. Devlal’s diagnosis transformed him from helpless to helpless. He has thanked State Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Social Welfare Minister Lakshmi Rajwade and the district administration for organizing such meaningful diagnostic programs for the disabled.
