Discussions on coalition government in Tamil Nadu: Thirumavalavan confirms joining the cabinet

Tamil Nadu: In a statement issued in Chennai, Member of Parliament and leader Thol. Thirumavalavan stated that the Vishwakarma movement was the first to propose a coalition government in Tamil Nadu. He made this statement during a conversation with reporters, where he detailed his party’s political decisions and future strategy.
Thirumavalavan stated that his party has decided to support the inclusion of two of its MLAs in the cabinet. These MLAs have been identified as Vanni Arasu and Jyothimani. He clarified that this is yet to be a formal announcement that his party will be part of the government.
He stated that the issue has been discussed extensively within the party. Most party members were of the opinion that the VCK should be represented in the cabinet. An online meeting was held on the 8th, attended by over 30 members. Most of the members present expressed the view that the party should play an active role in the government.
Thirumavalavan also stated that almost everyone at the meeting, with the exception of a few, supported the party leadership’s decision. Ultimately, it was agreed that the party president’s decision would be followed and the organization would move forward in that direction.
He further stated that the party had decided to extend unconditional support. Based on this, a letter of support was issued, formally declaring cooperation with the government. With this support, the party’s stance is that it will actively participate in the coalition government and contribute at the cabinet level through its representatives.
This decision by the party is being considered a significant step in the political situation in Tamil Nadu, as it is likely to further strengthen the coalition government. The VCK has long been active on issues of social justice and political representation, and this decision is being seen as an extension of that initiative.
The leadership indicated that in the future, the party would work closely with the government on various policy issues. After joining the cabinet, the party’s role will also expand at the administrative level, and this decision is part of the organizational strategy.
Thus, the VCK led by Thirumavalavan has formally moved towards becoming a part of the coalition government and has announced to ensure representation in the cabinet through its two MLAs.
