District Election Officer discussed with the departing polling personnel
Balrampur. The second phase of voting in Chhattisgarh state is going to be held tomorrow i.e. on 17th November. For this, a total of 683 polling centers have been made in Balrampur district. Today polling teams have been sent to these polling centers and send them along with ballot boxes and other materials. The process has started since morning itself. District Collector and District Election Officer RimiGUS Ekka went around and took stock of all the preparations.
Apart from Samari and Ramanujganj assembly, some part of Pratappur assembly also falls in Balrampur district where the administration has made 144 polling booths for voting.
There are 13 candidates from Samri and 11 candidates from Ramanujganj. The number of voters in the entire district will be 5 lakh 57 thousand 374. The Collector has appealed to everyone to cast their votes and tight security arrangements have been made in all these areas. The number of Naxal affected polling stations in the district is 150 and additional security arrangements have been made here.
