Divyanka Tripathi surprises Vivek by decorating for Diwali at home

On the occasion of Diwali, Pinkvilla caught up with the gorgeous, talented and beautiful actress Divyanka Tripathi, who shared her thoughts about the festival with us.

Sharing her Diwali plans, the actress said, “We will celebrate this Diwali at our home here in Mumbai, which is quite unusual as we always celebrate the festival with our families in Chandigarh or Bhopal. Vivek is very busy this year. Hai Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, we decided to stay here and celebrate the festival in Mumbai.

She further added, “Since we are at home during this time, I have become a practical housewife or a good housewife.” I decorated the house and lit it well with Diwali lights and decorations. I like to surprise Vivek. I wanted to, but since he was busy with rehearsals and his birthday was on 8th November, I thought let’s have a blast with double the decorations, so I decorated the house with birthday wishes, cards and Diwali lights.

The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress said, “I believe in recycling and reusing things. So I keep them in good condition and use them every day during Ganpati, Diwali or even Holi last year. “I reuse things and reinvent them.”
