DK Aruna said, CM Revanth is talking like a Twitter bird
Hyderabad: BJP national vice-president and Mahbubnagar MP D K Aruna alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was speaking like some other bird on Twitter. The BJP MP on Sunday reacted strongly to the Chief Minister’s response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on the Congress government not fulfilling election promises. She said the promises made by the Congress have not been fulfilled in any of its ruling states. People in Karnataka and Telangana believed in the Congress and voted for it. However, now they feel cheated. She said this is the reason why the Congress lost the recently concluded Haryana Assembly elections, as people did not trust the assurances of the Congress party. D K Aruna reminded that the Chief Minister had promised to announce the implementation of farm loan waiver on December 9. But “even after nine months in power, not even half of it has been completed.” She said the Congress changed the name of the previous government’s Ritu Bandhu and promised Rs 15,000 instead of Rs 10,000. “Have the farmers got it yet?” she asked. Similarly, she questioned the failure of the State government to implement the assurances of loan waiver to tenant farmers, Rs 12,000 to farm labourers, Rs 4,000 as unemployment allowance besides 2 lakh jobs, electric scooters to young women pursuing degree courses, Rs 1 lakh under Kalyana Lakshmi, enhanced pension of Rs 4,000 per month, etc. Aruna alleged that all the promises made by the Congress government are hollow and fraudulent. “How dare CM Revanth, who has failed to fulfil his promises, criticise PM Modi on Twitter?” she questioned. The BJP MP said real estate in Hyderabad has never fallen so much, no matter who has been in the government. However, she claimed that the fear created in the name of Hydra has brought down real estate in the city. “As if all this was not enough, the Congress government in Telangana has come up with yet another hollow promise to revive the Musi river. Earlier the BRS government led by former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has looted the state in the name of Kaleshwaram, Palamuru Rangareddy and Mission Bhagiratha. Is CM Revanth’s government planning to loot the state in the name of Musi river?
