DMDK has given additional strength to the DMK alliance: Vaiko
Tamil Nadu: MDMK General Secretary Vaiko stated that the merger with the DMDK has further strengthened the DMK alliance.
He told reporters in Madurai on Thursday: “The DMK-led alliance will win the upcoming assembly elections. The DMK will form the government with a majority. There is no question of a coalition government. The MDMK will contest the assembly elections on a separate symbol.”
The Tamil Nadu government should not grant environmental clearance from the Pollution Control Board to a new company named Strolite Copper Green, which is being set up in Thoothukudi.
The central government should criticize the Sri Lankan government for the Sri Lankan Navy’s arrest of Tamil Nadu fishermen. The Indian Navy should prevent the Sri Lankan Navy from entering Indian waters.

The DMDK’s entry has further strengthened the already strong DMK alliance. It is the Congress party’s right to demand a share in the government. He stated that the DMK’s support from all sections has increased compared to the past.
Fundraising Ceremony: Following this, the MDMK held a regional-level election fundraising ceremony.
The event was presided over by M. Bhoominathan, MLA of the Madurai South constituency. District secretaries M. Maranadu (Madurai Poogur), K.P. Jayaram (Madurai South), V.S.K. Ramakrishnan (Theni), N. Selvaraghavan (Dindugal), Pasumpon C. Manoharan (Sivaganga), and V.K. Suresh (Ramanathapuram) were present.
Madurai city contributed ₹5.2 million, while Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Sivaganga, and Ramanathapuram districts contributed ₹1.38 million.
Party officials, state union president Mahboob John, and others attended the meeting.
