DMK is a guarantee of security for Muslims: Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin

Tamil Nadu: Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said that the DMK government will act as a strong shield for the welfare of the Muslim community.
Speaking at the DMK Students’ Council Silver Jubilee State Conference held at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai on Sunday, he said: The BJP government at the Centre believes that Dalit, backward, and minority students should not study and progress. That is why the central government has even stopped the concessions reserved for minority students. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin strongly protested against this injustice. The DMK participated in several protests against Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi. The DMK also participated in protests against the New Education Policy.
During the last Lok Sabha elections, Edappadi Palaniswami assured minorities that the AIADMK would never ally with the BJP. Now, he has formed an alliance with the BJP.
The DMK will always be a safe haven for the minority community. The DMK government has implemented several projects, including Rs. 40 crore for the Haj House project in Chennai, an increase of Rs. 80 lakh per year in administrative subsidies to the Tamil Nadu Haj Committee, a Haj pilgrimage subsidy of Rs. 25 crore, provision of loans worth Rs. 207 crore through the Tamil Nadu Minorities Economic Development Corporation, an incentive of Rs. 5 crore to promote education among the rural population, and increasing the pension for Ulemas to Rs. 5,000.
He also allocated Rs. 23 crore for the construction of Waqf mosques in Chennai, Madurai, and Coimbatore, as well as for the reconstruction of existing mosques, dargahs, and Waqf institutions.
The DMK is committed to working for the Muslim, Dalit, and backward communities. He said that if we all work together, the secular alliance will win more than 200 seats.
