Dogs survive by eating leg of dead owner in locked house, rescued
New Delhi: A pack of dogs most probably survived in a locked house by eating the left leg of their dead owner. The incident took place in Bangkok.
As per reports, 28 dogs were locked along with their owner in a house. Meanwhile as the owner apparently died of comorbidities they remained locked inside the house. However, later the dogs were rescued when it was thought that they could survive by eating the left leg of their owner.
Police said the dogs apparently survived by eating the left leg of the owner, Mr Attapol Charoenpithak, 62, whose body was found at noon on July 27 inside his bedroom on the second floor of the house in Bangkok’s Khlong Sam Wa district, reported The Strait Times.
Later, the deceased’s neighbour informed Police about absence of Mr Attapol and his comorbidities. Accordingly, Police went inside the house along with members of a Foundation and found that the house was littered with garbage and dog poop. The owner’s body was found lying inside the house. The body was seized and sent for autopsy.
The 28 dogs were rescued by the members of a Foundation as the owner had reportedly earlier agreed to hand over all the dogs to the foundation after his death.
