Domestic gold and silver prices again witnessed a rise

gold and silver prices ;Domestic gold and silver prices rose on the strength of the global market. The rupee witnessed a mixed trend against global currencies. High prices of crude oil have put pressure on the rupee.
Domestically, gold and silver prices were in favor of price correction in Mumbai jewelery market. The non-GST price of 99.90 ten grams gold was Rs 59,016 while the price of 99.50 ten grams gold was Rs 58,780. The price of silver increased to Rs 71853 per kg. Compared to Thursday, a rise of more than Rs 1500 has been seen in silver. Without GST, prices were three percent higher.
In Ahmedabad market, the price of 99.90 gold was Rs 61,000 per ten grams, while the price of 99.50 gold was Rs 60,800. Silver was priced at Rs.999 per kg at Rs 72000.
In the global market, gold rose to $ 1,920 an ounce while the price of silver stood at $ 23.18 an ounce.
Crude oil prices rose to a ten-month high on expectations of a pause in global interest rate hikes and better-than-expected Chinese manufacturing and retail sales data for August. If the rise in global interest rates stops, producers may benefit and purchases of crude oil may increase.
There was mixed movement of rupee against foreign currencies. One dollar increased by 12 paise to reach Rs 83.17. While the pound fell by 19 paise to Rs 103.40, the euro fell by 39 paise to Rs 88.69. Rupee came under pressure against dollar due to increase in crude oil.
