Dress code mandatory in Khatushyam temple
Hapur | Dress code has been implemented in Khatu Shyam temple located in Mandi Patiya of Hapur Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Now the devotees will have to face the new rule in Khatu Shyam temple. There is a condition of decent clothes for visiting the temple. On behalf of the temple committee, an appeal has been made to the devotees to have darshan of the Lord by wearing modest clothes by placing a board in the premises. Devotees will not be allowed to enter the temple wearing short clothes, half pants, mini tops, mini skirts, night suits, torn jeans. On behalf of the temple committee’s trust, a poster of the information board has been pasted outside the temple near the gate.
Naman Agarwal, a devotee of Khatu Shyam temple, said that the dress code has been implemented by the committee for both male and female devotees visiting the temple. Along with this, an appeal has been made that people should not come inside the temple wearing torn jeans, half-pants and short clothes. This temple committee has taken a very good decision. We welcome this and we also appeal to all the devotees to come to the temple in decent clothes only.
On the other hand, when devotee Sunil Kumar was talked about in this matter, he told that the purpose of the dress should not spread confusion among the people that such people come here. Whoever comes to visit the temple comes clean and pure. On the question that everyone has the freedom to wear clothes of their own choice, said that we should use the dress code only by staying in dignity.
