Driver injured in truck collision dies
Jagdalpur. There was a head-on collision between two trucks near village Balenga of Bhanpuri police station area. The injured were brought to Mekaj for better treatment, where one truck driver died, while the other truck driver has been sent to Raipur for better treatment.
Family members told that Sindhu Kashyap, resident of Manganar, father Ramnath (32 years) used to work as a truck driver. Had gone to Raipur a few days ago to collect goods. They were going from Jagdalpur towards Raipur after loading the goods in the truck, but there was a collision between the two trucks near Balenga.
The injured were taken to Kondagaon District Hospital, from where both were brought to Mekaj for better treatment. During recruitment, the driver of the second truck was referred to Raipur after a few hours, while Sindhu died in the night during treatment, after which the body was handed over to the family members after the PM on Friday.
