Pooja Hegde, a lifelong fan of John Mayer, said she finally saw him live

Mumbai: Actress Pooja Hegde couldn’t contain her excitement after attending American singer-songwriter John Mayer’s live concert.
The actress shared glimpses of the show on Instagram, admitting that she’s been a “fangirl” of the Grammy-winning musician for years and still can’t believe she finally got to see him perform live.
Pooja shared several photos and videos from the concert on Instagram Stories, captioning them: “Can’t believe I finally saw him live,” “Bucket list (completed),” “Fangirl for life,” and “Need to do it again.”
Mayer’s first two studio albums, Room for Squares and Heavier Things, were both critical and commercial successes. The single “Your Body Is a Wonderland” won Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 45th Annual Grammy Awards, while the latter topped the Billboard 200.
In addition to his solo career, Mayer has produced and composed music for a variety of artists, including Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Alicia Keys, Jack Harlow, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Harry Styles, Daniel Caesar, Khalid, Jhené Aiko, and Barbra Streisand.
In 2015, three former members of the Grateful Dead joined forces with Mayer and two other musicians to form the band Dead & Company.
As for Pooja, she appeared in a song titled “Monica” from the recently released film “Coolie.”
“Coolie” is an Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Jr. MGR, Monisha Blessy, and Kaali Venkat.
The film reunites actors Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth after nearly 38 years.
‘Coolie,’ Rajinikanth’s 171st film, revolves around gold smuggling. Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanakaraj has stated that ‘Coolie’ will be a standalone film and not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). She will next be seen in ‘Jana Nayagan,’ a political action thriller directed by H. Vinoth.
