Drug smuggler arrested
Manendragarh. The accused has been arrested with drugs in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur (MCB) district. The name of the accused is Khaleshwar Ram Sahu. He was standing near village Kudeli Maja Chowk in search of a customer. The matter is of Patna police station area. Police had received information from the informer that Khaleshwar Ram Sahu of village Pandaripani, Ramanujnagar had kept intoxicants and injections with him. Which he sells for Rs 500-600 and is now walking towards village Kudeli in search of a customer. This information was given to Superintendent of Police Korea Suraj Singh Parihar. He directed to arrest the accused immediately.
When the team of Patna police station reached the spot, a person was found standing near a neem tree near village Kudeli Maja Chowk. As soon as the police vehicle reached there, seeing this the person started running away, who was caught by the police after laying siege. When he was stopped and searched, his bag was found to contain 82 vials of illegal drug Buprenorphine Rexogesic Injection (02ML) and 91 vials of Avil (10ML). The drugs recovered from the possession of Khaleshwar Ram Sahu were taken into custody by the Korea Police team. The drug injection was examined by the drug inspector. After this the accused was arrested. Action has been taken against him under NDPS Act. The accused was produced in the court, from where he has been sent to jail in judicial custody.
