Drunk car driver hits bike and drags it 500 meters
A shocking incident took place in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru. On the night before Christmas Eve, a drunken car driver hit a bike and dragged it for about half a kilometer. The biker was seriously injured in the incident.
According to the police, the incident took place on December 24 at 7:15 pm on the road leading from Sumanahalli flyover to Nagarabhavi Circle. 38-year-old Srinivas KV was speeding in his car. At that time, he was driving under the influence of alcohol. At the same time, the car hit a man named Rohit, who was riding a Royal Enfield bike, from behind. The car then dragged the bike for about 500 meters. Rohit was seriously injured in the incident. Other motorists who noticed him stopped the car and rescued Rohit. Later, the car driver was beaten up and handed over to the police. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. The police said that the biker suffered injuries to his chest, legs and arms. He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. The video of the incident has gone viral on the internet.
