Along with this, 5 roads of Baisa and Amour have been washed away due to the strong flow of flood water, which includes 3 roads of Vaisa block and 2 roads of Amour block. Due to this, the contact of about 30 thousand population of more than 16 villages has been completely cut off from the district headquarters. Let us inform that the roads which have been washed away in the flood water include rural roads from Phuleshwari to Harna, Raibar to Prasadpur, Bardiha to Khata Toli, Jhaunwatoli to Chatangi, Bhasna Chowk to Pipra village.
Along with this, the block head of Baisa Mohammad Shamim Akhtar told that earlier in 2021 this road was cut in the flood, the villagers have applied to the department several times regarding the repair, but no hearing was held. Also, this time again this road has been cut for about 100 meters, due to which the traffic is obstructed. In this village, the water of Kankai river entered hundreds of houses in the village. Flood situation is visible everywhere. Along with this, a strong stream of water is flowing on the roads.
Let us tell you that some similar situation is prevailing in Biasi block as well. The main road leading from Jhaunwatoli to Chatangi village of Sugwa Mahanandpur panchayat has been damaged. Thousands of people come and go daily from this road. Water is flowing over the road near the Janata Haat of Asja village. Due to water flowing above the danger mark in the Parman river, the approach to the bridge is being cut off due to about three feet of water flowing over the bridge on the main road from Bhasna Chowk to Pipra village of Dhurpaili Panchayat. Along with this, due to water flowing over the bridge, the contact of 3 villages with the district headquarters has been broken.

Almost the same situation is in the villages situated in many low-lying areas of Amour block, where water has entered many houses due to floods, in such a way the safety of goods and cattle has become a big challenge for them. At the same time, rapid erosion is going on in many places. According to a media report, Abhishek Kumar, junior engineer of the Water Resources Department, said, “It has been instructed to start the repair work of these roads flowing in flood water as soon as possible, traffic will be restored soon.” .”
