ED again gets remand of Nitish Diwan in Mahadev Satta App case
Raipur. ED has got the remand of Nitish Diwan in the Mahadev Satta App case. After the hearing in Raipur on Monday, the court has handed him over to ED for 3 days. Earlier, Nitish Diwan was sent to jail in judicial custody for 3 days. After being sent to judicial remand on Saturday, he was again produced in the special court today. Here, during the hearing, ED presented its stand for Nitish’s remand, which was accepted by the Special Court of Special Judge.
On February 17, ED had arrested panel operator of betting app Nitish Diwan. 25 year old Nitish is a resident of Vaishali Nagar. He worked with the promoter for the panel operation of the app. Nitish Diwan was arrested on 17 February, after which he was presented in the court. ED had asked for 14 days remand. After hearing both the sides, Judge Ajay Singh Rajput has given 8 days custodial remand. The next hearing in this case took place on 24 February.
After this, he was produced again on 24th February but Nitish Diwan did not get any relief from the special court. He was sent to jail for three days. Now on Monday, ED has got 3 days remand. 13 people accused in the Mahadev Satta App case were asked to appear in the court. Which includes Mahadev App chief Saurabh Chandrakar, Ravi Uppal, Vishal Ahuja, Dheeraj Ahuja, Poonaram Verma, Shivkumar Verma, Yashoda Verma, Pawan Natthani, Rohit Gulati, Anil Aggarwal, Shubham Soni and two more people. But he did not reach the court.
Of these, a bailable warrant of Rs 500 has been issued to 4 people Shivkumar Verma, Yashoda Verma, Poonaram Verma, and Srijan Associate. Summons have been issued to the remaining 9 people to join again. At the same time, during the search conducted under PMLA 2002, total movable property worth Rs 572.41 crore has been seized. Two attachment orders have been issued. In which movable and immovable properties worth Rs 142.86 crore have been attached. Prosecution complaints in this case were filed on 20 October 2023 and 1 January 2024. So far 9 accused have been arrested.
