Elderly man stabbed to death, police investigating

Lucknow: The murder of an elderly man on Saturday in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, created a stir. It is being told that the elderly man was stabbed to death just a few steps away from the police station. The case is of Gomti Nagar Extension. According to the information, the police received information that an elderly man was stabbed to death in Makdoompur area, 200 meters away from Gomti Nagar Extension.

The name of the deceased is being told as Mahavir Yadav. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and called the forensic unit team to the spot for investigation. At present, the police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Also, the police is finding out the reasons for the murder.
