Elderly man who crushed young man arrested, action under hit and run case

Khairagarh. In the recent hit and run case from Gandai, not a young man but a 73 year old man has been found involved. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police has succeeded in reaching the accused elderly man, who has been arrested and further action is being taken.Recently, an unknown driver had hit 35-year-old Dinesh Yadav, a resident of Jhuranadi. After dragging her for about a kilometer, he crushed her and ran away towards Kawardha. Dinesh Yadav died on the spot with his limbs fractured in the accident. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma prepared a team of Police Station Gandai and Cyber Cell and started checking all the CCTV cameras up to a distance of 50 km. On the basis of CCTV footage, a white colored car was found to have caused the accident.
