Election Commission took major action in Chhattisgarh, issued notice to Congress leader and sought reply
Rajnandgaon. The Election Commission has issued a notice to Rajnandgaon City Congress President Kulbir Chhabra in the matter of Congress filling the application form for Nari Nyay Yojana amidst the code of conduct implemented during the Lok Sabha elections. The notice has sought a reply within 24 hours.
It is being told that during the implementation of the code of conduct, BJP had complained to the Commission, saying that filling the form was illegal. On the basis of the complaint made by the BJP party, the Commission has sought a reply from Chhabra. It is being told that Congress has promised to give one lakh rupees per year to women under this scheme. Amidst the implementation of the code of conduct, BJP has objected to this initiative of Congress.
On this basis, a notice has been issued to Chhabra and his reply has been sought within 24 hours. After replying, further action will be taken by the Commission.
