Collector and District Election Officer Dharmesh Kumar Sahu took stock of the training of officers and employees going on in Bilaigarh and Barmkela areas of the district to conduct the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in an organized manner. Officers and employees of all departments were present in this training. Collector Sahu, first thing in the morning, took stock of the ongoing training at the Government Higher Secondary School Bar under Baramkela. Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu visited all the classrooms related to election training and inspected them and talked to teachers and master trainers regarding training. The Collector asked the Master Trainer about each and every item of election training.
Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu said that election is an important task. Work by taking it seriously. Training is being given by master trainers, understand it carefully and accept it. He asked the master trainers to demonstrate using VVPAT, EVM and control unit. Along with this also do mock test.
A total of about 500 teachers, including both shifts, participated in the training at the Government Higher Secondary School Bar of Baramkela Development Block. This training is being given by a master trainer through 4 camera projectors. During the training, complete information about the voting process is being given, from the code of conduct to the rules of voting. Practical training on EVM machine and VVPAT is also being given. All necessary information is also being noted down during the training. Master trainers explained about obtaining voting material, taking precautions during transportation to the polling station, keeping EVM and VVPAT in the polling station, mock poll, filling information in the prescribed form and keeping it safe in the envelope, collecting the machine and documents after voting, etc. Detailed information was given. On this occasion, Harishankar Chauhan Project Director, Komal Prasad Sahu Tehsildar, Assistant Nodal Officer (Training) Naresh Kumar Chauhan, Lakshmi Narayan Patel, Padumlal Patel Principal and other officers and employees were present.
Similarly, in the afternoon, Collector Sahu inspected the training going on in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bilaigarh under Bilaigarh. Sahu asked the master trainers to provide good training and the election personnel to take good training. On this occasion, Nodal Officer Sweep Harishankar Chauhan, SDM Bilaigarh Dr. Snigdha Tiwari were present. It is noteworthy that this training will be held in Barmkela on 28th and 30th March. This training will be held in Sarangarh and Bilaigarh on 28th and 30th March as well as on 01st April 2024.
