Election of BCI member representative from the state
Cuttack: The election of BCI member representative from Odisha state is scheduled to be held on December 17, 2023, credible reports said on Tuesday.
According to reports, Bar Council of India (BCI) has written a letter to the Secretary of Odisha State Bar Council that the election of member-representative of Bar Council of India from the state of Odisha will be held on 17.12.2023. In the premises of Odisha State Bar Council.
The Secretary, Odisha State Bar Council is requested and directed to notify the date
The above election schedule till today 4th December or maximum till tomorrow 5th December 2023.
The Secretary, Odisha State Bar Council is requested and directed to inform
All newly elected members of the Odisha State Bar Council shall be informed of the election schedule by all means, including SMS, email, WhatsApp, phone calls and pasting of the election notice and election schedule on the notice board of the State Bar Council.

Nomination for the post of Member Representative of the Bar Council of India – 9th and 10th December, 2023 from 10.00 am to 03.00 pm
Scrutiny of nomination papers – December 10, 2023 from 03.00 PM to 04.00 PM
Publication of list of candidates – December 10, 2023 by/before 05.00 pm
Date of withdrawal of nomination for the post of Member-Representative of Bar Council of India – December 11, 2023 from 11.00 am to 03.00 pm
Publication of final list of candidates on 11 December 2023 from 03.30 PM to 04.00 PM
Election of member-delegate to the Bar Council of India – December 17, 2023 from 11.00 am to 12.30 noon
Counting of votes and declaration of results
Counting of votes will take place immediately thereafter and the result will be declared.
