Elephant attacked couple, one died

Gaurela pendra Marwahi. Elephant terror continues in Chhattisgarh. Another person died due to elephant attack. This incident took place in Ushadh Beat of Marwahi Forest Range of Marwahi Forest Division, where an elephant attacked a husband and wife who were guarding their crops in the fields last night. The husband died in a sudden attack. The wife is seriously injured.

After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. It is being told that the deceased Ashok Khairwar, aged 37 years, was in the barn of the fields to protect his crop, where while trying to eat the crop, the elephant attacked the husband and wife. Ashoka died a painful death due to being crushed by an elephant. The elephant crushed the deceased and took him 30-40 feet. The condition of the second deceased’s wife remains critical. He has been admitted to Community Health Center Marwahi for treatment.
