Elephant falls into ditch, rescue work underway

Sundergarh: An elephant fell into a ditch last night near Bhadrapada under Sadar forest area of Sundergarh district.
According to the local people, the elephant had come to the field in search of food and fell inside the ditch.

Local people strolling in the fields saw the elephant and informed the forest department.

On receiving information about the incident, the forest department came to save the elephant and the operation is still going on.
