Employment fair will be organized here from August 2
Baloda Bazar. In order to provide employment opportunities in the private sector to the educated youth of the district, an employment fair will be organized on August 2, 2023 at Nagar Bhavan Balodabazar in front of the employment office located at the district headquarters. The said employment fair will be held from 11 am to 3 pm. The above information has been given by Assistant Director Employment Manorama Bhagat.
In Balrampur-Ramanujganj district, a total of 2424 youths are approved in the district under Chhattisgarh government’s unemployment allowance scheme. A total of 2235 youths are being provided unemployment allowance under unemployment allowance. Under the Unemployment Allowance Scheme, after counseling the eligible beneficiaries, the government training provider, District Project Livelihood College Society, Balrampur, is currently conducting training courses for 65 beneficiaries in mobile repairing and hardware technician, taxi driver and solar pump technician.
Presently, on July 28, 2023, the district level employment fair was organized at Livelihood College Balrampur and the first phase interview was conducted by the employers to provide employment/self-employment to the eligible beneficiaries under Unemployment Allowance Scheme. In which a total of 92 beneficiaries were selected in the first phase. Out of the selected 92 beneficiaries, 25 beneficiaries have been selected for security guard in the concerned company/organization. District level employment fair was organized again on 26 July 2023. In which a total of 55 beneficiaries were selected by the employers in the first phase interview.
