Panch Mewa Paag is also known as Mewa Pav. By the way, this sweet can be made at home anytime. Due to its wonderful taste, it settles in everyone’s mind. Be it lunch or dinner, at the end of it, Mewa Paag can be used to sweeten the mouth. This sweet dish will give you a lot of relief. To make Mewa Paag, various types of dry fruits and sugar or jaggery syrup are used. Material 1 cup makhana 1 cup grated dry coconut 1 cup melon seeds 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup ghee 1/2 cup almonds 1/3 cup gum 1/3 cup poppy seeds 1 tsp cardamom powder Method – First of all cut makhana, gari, cashew nuts, almonds and other dry fruits into small pieces. Now heat ghee in a pan and fry all the dry fruits one by one. – Fry chironji and melon seeds also on low flame. Fry gum in pure desi ghee on low flame. When it cools down, put it in a mixer and grind it. Now make a syrup by adding sugar and water in a pan. Keep checking the syrup in between. Mix well all the roasted dry fruits in the prepared syrup. Later add cardamom powder and black pepper to it. Now take out this mixture in a plate greased with ghee and let it cool. After this, cut it in the shape of barfi with a knife.
