Evaluation of answer sheets of inter exam started in Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada: Evaluation of answer sheets for intermediate examinations started at 25 centers in Andhra Pradesh. Principal Secretary (School Education) Praveen Prakash informed that the evaluation, which is to be conducted by around 23,000 evaluators, will continue till April 4 and added that each evaluator in each center was assigned the task of evaluating 30 answer sheets per day. The examination centers include 100% bench seating, RO plants for drinking water, high-end toilets, tube lights and other facilities,” the principal secretary said. Saying that a total of 30,234 rooms have been made available to accommodate 7,25,618 students registered for the examination, he said around 35,119 observers are monitoring the proceedings, besides 156 flying squads and 682 sitting squads for the examination. He said, “To protect the dignity and sanctity of the examination, each page of each question paper includes a unique QR code at the top, but also includes a watermark code in webbing font, allowing real-time tracking and Allows to identify misconduct. Source.”
Referring to the re-enrolled students, the Principal Secretary said that the state has introduced a new policy where students who failed in the previous year’s examination are re-enrolled as regular students in this year’s examination. 1,125 such students will appear. Their marks will be considered on subject-wise basis, the best marks of both the years will be selected, the policy aims to remove the gap between failed students and passed students in the mark sheets, he concluded.
Audio Question Paper for Visually Impaired
Andhra Pradesh has taken an innovative step by providing audio question papers to visually impaired students appearing for the SSC exam, the only state in the country to do so on a pilot basis. This year, 12 children with special needs are using the facility, with plans to expand it to all students with special needs in the future.
