Every vote counts for the future of Puducherry: PM Modi

Tamil Nadu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that every vote is crucial in shaping the future of Puducherry.

The Prime Minister posted this on his X page:

As the Puducherry Assembly elections begin, I appeal to all voters to come out and vote in large numbers.

I especially appeal to our youth and women voters to come forward to strengthen the democratic process. Every vote counts in shaping the future of Puducherry,” he wrote.

Voting is underway for 30 seats in the Union Territory of Puducherry. A total of 294 candidates are contesting. 9.50 lakh voters (4,46,667 men, 5,03,832 women, 140 third gender) are eligible to vote.
