Exodus of leaders from BRS continues as Bhadrachalam MLA Venkata Rao joins Congress

The presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his cabinet colleague P Srinivas Reddy. Ruling party sources said several BRS leaders from Bhadrachalam constituency joined the Congress along with Venkata Rao.

Bhadrachalam MLA Venkata Rao is the third MLA to leave BRS and join Congress in recent times. Earlier on March 31, BRS MLA from Ghanpur (Station) and former minister Kadiyam Srihari and his daughter Kadiyam Kavya had joined the Congress party.
Another MLA from Khairatabad, Danam Nagendra, also left the party and joined the Congress. He will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Secunderabad region. Many leaders have left BRS after the party lost power in the assembly elections held last year.
