Explosion in mini bus in Kabul; Two people died, 14 injured

Kabul: A mini bus exploded in Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul. Police said on Sunday that at least two people died and 14 others were injured in the accident.

Xinhua news agency quoted Kabul Police spokesman Khalid Zadran as saying, “All the deceased are citizens of this place.” The people injured in the explosion have been taken to the hospital for treatment. However, the police spokesperson has not given much information. He says that investigation into the incident has been started.

Locals said several people were injured in the blast that targeted a mini bus at around 6.30 pm local time on Saturday. No group or individual has claimed responsibility.
