Facebook friendship proved costly for woman, made victim of lust in hotel, obscene video also made

Kanpur: In Kalyanpur, Kanpur, UP, a truck driver befriended a woman on Facebook and then raped her on the pretext of marriage. During this, the youth also made an obscene video of the victim and blackmailed her. On Sunday, the accused called the woman to a hotel and then raped her. On protesting, the youth beat her with a slipper. The victim has given a complaint to the police about the incident.

According to a divorced woman resident of Kashyap Nagar, Kalyanpur, a few days ago she became friends with truck driver Shubham, resident of Mainpuri, through Facebook. Shubham raped her several times on the pretext of marriage. During this, Shubham also made an obscene video of her with the help of his friends.

Here, enraged on being asked to marry, Shubham refused and threatened the woman to make her obscene video viral.

It is alleged that Shubham called the woman to a hotel in Kalyanpur on Sunday in the name of deleting the video and then raped her. After this, she was brutally beaten up in Panki Road, Mirzapur. Kalyanpur Inspector said that an FIR has been registered in the case. Investigation is underway.

A neighbouring youth along with his friend molested a high school student living in Kalyanpur. Kalyanpur Inspector said that primary investigation has revealed a dispute between neighbours. Appropriate action will be taken after investigating the case on the basis of the complaint.
