Fake video of female MLA went viral, accused arrested

Bayana. The police has arrested the accused of making fake video of Bayana MLA Dr. Ritu Banawat viral on social media. The accused has been arrested by the police from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, who is Ramaram Bishnoi and is said to be a resident of Barmer Balotra. He runs a cosmetic shop in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

Bayana police station officer Sunil Kumar said that Bayana MLA Dr. Banawat lodged a report at the police station and informed that an attempt is being made to tarnish his political and social image by making his fake obscene video and photo viral on social media. With the help of cyber cell, the accused Ramaram (26) was arrested. The accused has created an account on social media in the name of Dinesh Kumar Vishnoi, resident of Barmer. The accused has been arrested from Kolhapur, Maharashtra from the CDR and location of mobile numbers. The accused runs a cosmetic shop in Kolhapur.

The MLA reached Rajasthan Assembly and complained about this matter to Speaker Vasudev Devnani. On which the Speaker immediately directed IG Bharatpur to investigate the matter. Earlier, on behalf of MLA Dr. Banawat, a written complaint was sent to District Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachchawa. After which a case was registered in the matter and investigation was done. The police arrested the accused in the case within a week.
